In 1999 an
upgrade of the
major
intersection at
Glen Osmond in
Adelaide saw
significant
changes of the
area in both its
functionality
and visual
appearance. We
were contracted
by Transport SA
for a six month
period to
construct new
walls and a
prominent water
feature as part
of this
redevelopment.
Unusual in
design, the
walls feature
bluestone
quarried from
Kanmantoo and
use two
different
layering
techniques.
The design for
this significant
project was by
Mark Butcher
Architects, Rob
Williams
Architects,
Marijana Tadic
and Neil Cranney.
The design and
construction of
the 'Gateway to
Adelaide' is
considered
world-class and
Pascale
Construction are
proud to have
been involved
with such a
significant
project.
