Architect's Comment
The oval shaped two storey Chapel is surrounded by an arched single storey
colonnade accompanied by a three storey bell tower. A large percentage of the
building is clad in standard and various special shaped red bricks in every
possible configuration including, double curved arches of varying diameters, on
edge and on end, in different diameter walls, recesses, arrised corners,
rebates, curving bullnoses and integrated with special stone features. The
brickwork is the most outstanding feature of a superb modern yet traditional
building.
